The Harvests Begin…

So far this season I have harvested about 2lbs of salad greens (spinach, swiss chard, mesclun, leaf lettuce, parsley, dill, and radish greens) and about 1lbs of radishes. I have set a goal of 1000lbs of production from our property this year (including fruit and eggs). This is a pretty unrealistic goal, but I like to aim high. I love what you are doing! Job well done. I live in Denton as well, but I’m still waiting on my lettuces and radishes to get a little bigger. I rent a garden plot at Bowling Park and the water was turned on March 15, that’s when I got my greens started. When did you plant your greens?

I’m defintely keeping tabs on your blog!
